Website accessibility

Accessibility Statement.

We want houserescue-handyman.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, larger text or high-contrast settings. This page explains the standard we aim for and how to tell us about a problem.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is a goal we work toward, not a claim that every page fully conforms today.

What to know

  • Pages use standard headings and lists, so screen readers can follow the structure.
  • The estimate form and the chat bubble come from a third-party provider, so their accessibility is outside our direct control. If either one gives you trouble, you can ask for an estimate by phone, text or email instead.
  • The mobile menu button and the expandable FAQ answers don't yet tell screen readers whether they're open or closed.

If something doesn't work for you

If you hit a barrier on the site — anything that stops you from using the information or contacting us — please tell us. Call or text (929) 661-6710, or email nick@houserescue-handyman.com. It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do and, if relevant, the assistive technology you use.

Other ways to reach us
