House Rescue Handyman provides handyman services on Staten Island, in Brooklyn and in Manhattan, New York, in the categories listed on our Services page. Work that requires a building permit is outside our scope.
2. Estimates
Every job starts with a free written estimate.
3. Payment
We accept cash, card and check.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a visit.
5. Property access and safety
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. If conditions on site prevent us from working safely (for example aggressive pets, unsafe structural conditions or hazardous materials), we may decline to start or pause the work and reschedule.
6. Problems
If something goes wrong, please contact us first.
7. Website use
This website is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the information accurate but make no warranty that it is. There are no standing rates on this site; the price for your job comes from your written estimate.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. The terms in effect at the time of your written estimate govern your job — later changes do not retroactively apply.
9. SMS/Text Messaging
By providing your phone number and opting in through the chat widget on our website, you consent to receive text messages from House Rescue Handyman. These may include service messages (such as appointment reminders, estimate updates, and invoice notices) and/or marketing messages (such as special offers, discounts, and service updates).
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and you will not receive further texts unless you sign up again.
